FLY BY WIRE FAMILIARIZATION
The Fly-by-wire philosophy is a new concept for pilots accustomed to conventional aircraft. Together with one of our experienced instructors, this course will guide you step-by-step on how to perform simple and precise maneuvers manually (AP OFF, FDs OFF, Bird OFF, A/THR OFF). This will take place in our state of the art Airbus A320 simulator that closely replicates the operational accuracy, feeling, and responsiveness of the real aircraft. We provide extensive expertise, home study materials, and a structured program to ensure you acquire all the necessary skills for this transition.

Course Structure
At Home:
We offer home study materials that cover the Fly-by-wire concept, cockpit indications, and a general overview of the aircraft.
At FlightX:
30 minutes of briefing prior to the simulator session.
In the Simulator (2 hours):
- Normal takeoff
- Initial climb (NADP and acceleration)
- Level-off and cruise
- Pitch and Power exercises
- Basic maneuvers (climb, descent, simple turns, and steep turns)
- ILS interception
- Landing and go-around
Following the 2-hour simulator session, we will conclude the course with a 30-minute debriefing.
